In a poll conducted by online fashion shop Missbutterfly, Marilyn Monroe's sexy white halterneck outfit has been voted the most iconic movie dress of all time. The dress, which famously flew up as Marilyn stood on a subway vent in 'The Seven Year Itch', beat the little black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. Saucy cartoon star Jessica Rabbit's sexy, tight-fitting red dress in 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' took third place. The spotty dress worn by Julia Roberts in 'Pretty Woman' came fourth, followed by Sharon Stone's white sleeveless outfit in 'Basic Instinct'. There were a couple of surprises in the top 20, with Robin Williams' shapeless dress in 'Mrs Doubtfire' coming 10th and Guy Pearce's outlandish outfit in 'The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' landing 18th position. Other famous dresses to make the poll, included Snow White's yellow and blue dress and Julie Andrews' coat dress in 'Mary Poppins'. A spokesman for Missbutterfly said, "Marilyn Monroe's white halterneck dress is truly iconic and is instantly recognizable worldwide." "It goes to show what a powerful medium film is for fashion and actresses are often defined by what they wear from Audrey Hepburn's little black dress to Julie Andrews' coat dress as Mary Poppins." "However, I'm not sure people will be flocking to copy Mrs Doubtfire's shapeless dress or at the other end of the scale, Guy Pearce's outrageous cross-dressing numbers!" Supermodel Kate Moss is desperate for ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty to return two videotapes documenting the former couple's daily activities, because she doesn't want to be humiliated if they end up on the internet. The couple made eight video diaries during their turbulent relationship. After their split, Moss found six of the tapes but is concerned that Doherty, who is a self-confessed drug addict, could sell the missing two. Moss reportedly dumped Doherty earlier this month and is said to be anxious about the whereabouts of the missing video diaries, fearing they could fall into the wrong hands and end up on the internet. She and Doherty regularly took a video camera with them on their travels and some of the clips have already been posted on the web by the couple before they separated. One short video featured the pair singing together and Doherty serenading a scantily-clad Moss. The source added: "When those clips came on the net, Kate could obviously decide with Pete what was going to be made public. Now, with the remaining two tapes, she has no say." She is allegedly worried Doherty could resort to selling the remaing footage for money after he suffered a relapse in his efforts to kick his heroin habit. A source claims, "There are still some bits and pieces floating about of Pete with Kate. She has got rid of most of it. Six out of eight tapes have been destroyed. But she wanted to bury the lot before he could humiliate her by selling them or putting them on the internet. Pete could do what he wants with them." Referring to the video clips previously posted online, the source adds, "If they made that public, just think what could be on the tapes they held back." See more Kate Moss Pete Doherty |
Marilyn Monroe's biographer has slammed a newly released FBI report that claims she was the victim of a murder conspiracy. Monroe was 36 when she was found lying naked, faced down on her bed at her Brentwood, California home on August 5th 1962. A coroner ruled the cause of death as 'probable suicide' by barbiturate poisoning, but many conspiracy theorists believe her rumored affairs had something to do with her unexpected death. Her biographer, Anthony Summers refuses to believe the newly released FBI document, unearthed by Australian filmmaker Phillipe Mora. It claims Monroe was tricked into killing herself by associates who promised she would be rescued in time. Summers, who claims to have had access to the FBI documents over 20 years ago, dismisses the allegations of foul play as unfounded. He says, "I had this document in 1984 when it was first released by the FBI. I had the uncensored version of it the same year. I got it from a private source in California who in turn had been in touch with a man who was eager to lay blame for Monroe's death at the feet of the Kennedys." "I didn't use it because I believed it was full of misguided gibberish and rumor. It's a shame because there are some real mysteries surrounding Monroe's death, but I don't think murder is one of them." See more Marilyn Monroe |

Pop star Lily Allen likes to unwind after a hard day's touring by tuning into the local porn channel. She reveals she watches porn on TV wherever she is in the world because "the language of love is universal", but she admits she isn't a fan of "sick and twisted" Japanese blue movies. She says, "When I travel around the world there often isn't anything to watch on TV, especially when they don't speak English. But watching porn is fine as it doesn't need words. It's sort of universal. I watch a lot of it and in my opinion the local porn in Japan is very sick and twisted." See more Lily Allen |
Naomi Campbell was sentenced to 200 hours of community service after pleading guilty to assaulting two police officers after an "air rage" incident at Heathrow Airport. She was also ordered to pay $400 to each of the police officers she attacked and $300 to Miles Sutherland, the captain of the British Airways plane she disrupted, in addition to a $4,600 fine. She could have received six months jail time and a heavy fine for the six offenses stemming from a violent altercation in April with British Airways cabin crew and police who removed her from a flight in handcuffs while waiting on the tarmac at Heathrow. Prosecutors said Campbell used foul language, kicked and spat at police, accused airline personnel of racism and threatened to sue them after she was told that one of her bags had not been placed on the flight to Los Angeles in April. Campbell was traveling in first class and became abusive to the captain after he left the cockpit to personally explain to her why her bag, and those of many other travelers, had not been placed on the flight. Prosecutors said she shouted a number of obscenities and tried to kick the police who were summoned to remove her after she "ordered" Sutherland to delay takeoff and look for her missing piece of luggage. At one point, she accused the airline staff of being racist and said they would not have removed her from the flight if she was white. She told a white policewoman that the only reason she was being arrested was because she was "black and famous" and threatened to sue. Magistrate Peter Yiacoumi told Campbell that she was getting credit for past good behavior and for pleading guilty at the first hearing, but said the crimes could not go unpunished. Prosecutors said she kicked and spat at police officers, used foul language repeatedly, and had to be removed from the plane. "These offenses are aggravated because they were committed within a lengthy incident in a confined space on an aircraft," he said. "Whilst we accept that the loss of your suitcase would have been stressful, your subsequent behavior cannot be justified." After the sentencing, Campbell's spokesman, Alan Edwards, said she was "very, very relieved the incident was over." He said she felt she had been treated fairly and predicted she would work hard during her community service. See more Naomi Campbell |

Naomi Campbell has been charged with assaulting two police officers during an alleged luggage rage incident at Heathrow Airport, her lawyer and prosecutors. Campbell was charged when she reported to Heathrow police station for the April 3 incident, her lawyer Simon Nicholls said. The Crown Prosecution Service said Campbell faces six charges, three counts of assaulting a constable, two counts of using threatening, abusive words or behavior to the cabin crew and one count of disorderly conduct. Police said the assault charges related to the two officers. Campbell was ordered to appear at a west London magistrates' court June 20. Witnesses said Campbell was aboard a British Airways plane due to take off for Los Angeles when she became involved in a dispute over her luggage. Tens of thousands of bags had been mishandled at Heathrow's Terminal 5 after its chaotic opening in late March. Campbell was removed from the plane and held for eight hours at the airport police station before being released on bail. Her lawyer said she was "bitterly disappointed" that she had been charged. "Prosecutors in this case have decided she needs to be prosecuted in the magistrates court. She respects that decision and she hopes this matter is dealt with expeditiously," Nicholls said. The assault charges carry a maximum sentence of six months in prison and/or a fine of up to $10,000. The other charges are punishable by a fine. See more Naomi Campbell |

A New York City college student alleges in a lawsuit that Lindsay Lohan was seated next to her at a nightclub and left with her $12,000 mink coat. Maria Markova has sued Lindsay Lohan, claiming she took her mink coat without permission and kept it for more than two weeks. Markova said in a lawsuit that Lohan took the golden sheared mink coat while they were both in a nightclub in January. The lawsuit claims that Lohan's actions were: "intentional, oppressive and malicious and were carried out with reckless disregard for Markova's rights." Lohan's lawyer, Blair Berk, said it would be inappropriate to comment on the case. Markova's lawyer, Merrill Cohen, said Lohan had been sitting next to her client. Cohen said Markova next saw her coat on Lohan in a photo in OK! magazine. Cohen said she called Lohan's representatives and demanded the return of the coat. She said Markova got the coat back Feb. 14. Cohen said the lawsuit, filed in Manhattan's state Supreme Court, asks unspecified damages. See more Lindsay Lohan |
